Pamela McFadyen has been a weaver for 40 years. She first learned her craft in Perth and joined the Bannister Street Workshops in 1982. She had a studio at the Meat Market Craft Centre and was a member of the Maribyrnong River Edge Art Movement.
This work is dyed using the Ikat technique from Indonesia. The yarn used is rayon. The weavings is 2 x .6 metres and is designed to be hung. It has a rod across the top with a wire loop and weighs approx 1kg. This item can be collected in the Hobsons Bay area.
