Sacred Canyon, Flinders Ranges
Janet Pagan has always enjoyed the visual arts though only recently has she had the time to follow what has since become a passion. She started painting with acrylics, appreciating their vibrancy and immediacy. Lately she has started on a fascinating journey in oil paint, focussing on the landscapes and people that capture her interest and imagination.
This painting shows the narrow gap between the rock walls of the Sacred Canyon in the Flinders Ranges. The oranges, reds and purples of the scenery are extraordinary to see and experience. The canyon has several aboriginal carvings not shown in this scene..
This oil painting is 40x50x3cm and weighs approximately 650gms. It is on a canvas stretch ready to hang. This painting can be collected in the Hobsons Bay area.
