Statement from the Heritage Register (Heritage Victoria)
"A two-manual organ of 14 stops installed in 1896 thought to have been built by the Melbourne organ builder William Anderson for a previous location. The instrument remains largely unaltered, retaining its original action, pipework, tonal scheme and wind system, although the diapering of the facade pipes has been subsequently obliterated with paint. It is one of a handful of larger instruments by Anderson which has escaped alteration."

Restoration...
Thanks to the generosity of former parishioners (acknowledging in particular Derek Holt and Arthur Todd), the organ has recently undergone a full restoration.
